In 1997 a small group of writers got together to critique and support each other's work. That gathering launched what is now known as Word Weavers International. Word Weavers provides a forum for Christian writers to learn about and improve our craft. We're the Wilmington, North Carolina Chapter and we hope you enjoy our blog.
As you read the stories, devotionals and articles posted on this site, we hope you'll be encouraged and inspired to join us. We're ordinary people who feel called by God to write for His glory and each of us are at different stages of the journey. We know how it feels to be a little uncertain at first, but if your heart's desire is to write, then just visit us once - we promise to make you feel at home!
We meet at 7:00 on the first Monday of each month at Lifepoint Church, located at 3534 S. College Road, in Wilmington, NC.
